At the beginning of this month, we successfully submitted the DAirMET project to the Euroclusters program, and we are proud to be leading this initiative!

DAirMET is an ambitious project focused on airport decarbonization through innovative technologies and sustainable solutions, such as hydrogen and electric systems.

Industry Days with Vast
The beginning of the year has been exceptionally busy, but we wouldn’t want to miss the chance to look back at the Industry Days with Vast, which took place two weeks ago. ✨
CZECH AEROSPACE Cluster was honored to co-organize this intensive program focused on collaboration in the aerospace and space industry. A huge thank you to Czech Space Alliance and Ministerstvo dopravy ČR for their invaluable support in making this event a success!

We were especially glad that VAST’s visit coincided with the informal Thanksgiving dinner for the sponsors of Czech Space Week, organized by CzechInvest. This unique opportunity allowed VAST to connect with key stakeholders from the Czech space ecosystem, extending valuable discussions beyond formal meetings.

✈️ We had the opportunity to participate in the Accelerate GDT meeting in Budapest, where we engaged in discussions on the role of clusters in the green and digital transition.

During the event, Vendula Doubravská showcased PIMAP4Sustainability, a project supported by Euroclusters, which successfully concluded last autumn. This initiative demonstrated how cross-sectoral and cross-cluster collaboration can drive innovation and create new opportunities for SMEs across industries.
A big thank you to Zuzana Procházková and Pavlína Slepičková from CzechInvest for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of these important discussions!

Bringing together different sectors is key to building a more resilient and sustainable European industry, and we are proud to be part of this effort!

CZ: Bylo to vaše přání – a my jsme ho splnili!

Symbolicky jsme počítali s deseti, ale nakonec se nás sešlo přes padesát! Atmosféra byla úžasná a večírek jsme si užili na maximum – od tomboly, splněných přání až po taneční parket, který praskal ve švech.

Děkujeme všem, kdo dorazili! Během roku se určitě potkáme i se zbytkem a příští novoroční večírek naplánujeme s dostatečným předstihem, aby nás bylo ještě víc!

Tak na zdraví a na skvělý rok 2025!

EN: It was your wish – and we made it happen!

We initially planned for ten people, but in the end, more than fifty of us came together! The atmosphere was incredible, and we enjoyed every moment – from the wish-granting raffle to a dance floor absolutely on fire.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us! We’re looking forward to catching up with the rest of you during the year, and we’ll plan next year’s New Year party well in advance to make it even bigger!

Inspired at the 2nd Annual Space Economy Summit 2024 in Lisbon

Last week, we had the privilege of attending the 2nd annual Space Economy Summit in Lisbon, an event that truly captured the transformative power of the space industry. The majority of the talks and panels offered insightful discussions on how the space sector is changing—and will continue to change—the world

The themes explored were not only technological but deeply societal, emphasizing the role of space as a facilitator of social change. From discussions on lunar exploration to advanced satellite technologies, the impact of space innovation was clear.

A little personal highlight? Trying a VR experience of landing on the moon

It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people, making connections that extend beyond just business and into collaborative potential for future projects.

We left Lisbon feeling motivated and eager to contribute more significantly to this dynamic field. Looking forward to next year's summit!
