Wrapping up our participation at the International Aerospace Innovation Forum 2026 (#IAIF) in Montreal. ✈️

We were proud to host the Czech national booth, showcasing the country's end-to-end aerospace capabilities and advanced technologies alongside participating Czech companies: PBS GROUP a.s. (Otto Zapletal), Anacot Capital a.s. (Josef Novák), Radalytica a.s. (David Malančuk), and UptimAI (Adam Trcka).

During the event, we had the honor of welcoming Québec’s Minister of International Relations Christopher Skeete and Czech Ambassador to Canada Martin Tlapa for productive discussions. Our agenda also included a visit to the Deloitte Smart Factory.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Zdeněk Jelínek from the Ministry of Transport, who traveled with us from the Czech Republic and supported the team throughout the entire event. Our gratitude also goes to the Ministry of Transport (Ivona Fráňová), CzechInvest (Karolina Konicarova), and the Czech Embassy in Ottawa (Marino Radacic) for making this mission possible.

The CZECH AEROSPACE Cluster has successfully participated in the prestigious FIDAE - FERIA INTERNACIONAL DEL AIRE Y DEL ESPACIO trade fair in Chile. As part of the largest Czech delegation ever (18 companies), we confirmed that our aerospace and defense industry is a global player. ️️

Highlights:
✅ Joint Czech Pavilion and strong presence of our cluster members.
✅ Numerous B2B meetings and strategic negotiations in the LATAM region.
✅ Support from national authorities and the Czech Embassy in Santiago.

Proud to represent the Czech aerospace sector on the global stage!

CZ: Česká stopa na FIDAE 2026! ✈️

CZECH AEROSPACE Cluster se úspěšně prezentoval na prestižním veletrhu FIDAE v Chile. Jako součást dosud nejpočetnější české výpravy (18 firem) jsme potvrdili, že náš letecký a obranný průmysl má ve světě silné jméno. ️️

Hlavní body:
✅ Společný český pavilon a silné zastoupení členů našeho klastru.
✅ Maraton B2B schůzek a strategických jednání v regionu LATAM.
✅ Podpora ze strany ministerstev a velvyslanectví v Santiagu.

Jsme hrdí na to, že můžeme reprezentovat český letecký sektor na světové úrovni!

EN: ✈️ Mission Toulouse: Connecting Czech Aerospace with French Leaders

We’ve spent two full days in the heart of the European aerospace industry. Our mission to Toulouse was clear: strengthening the role of Czech companies in the supply chain and building direct partnerships with industry giants.

The program was packed with meetings and technical insights:

• Direct talks with leaders: Visits and discussions at Airbus Defence and Space, Safran, and Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation.
• Regional Aviation: Exploring future opportunities with ATR, the worldwide leader in regional turboprops.

CZ: ✈️ Mise Toulouse: Propojujeme český aerospace s francouzskými lídry

Máme za sebou dva dny naplno strávené v srdci evropského leteckého průmyslu. Naše mise do Toulouse měla jasný cíl: posílit roli českých firem v dodavatelském řetězci a navázat přímá partnerství s největšími hráči v oboru.

Program byl plný jednání a pohledů do výroby:

• Přímá jednání s hlavními hráči: Návštěvy a diskuse v Airbus Defence and Space, Safran a Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation.
• Regionální letectví: Průzkum budoucích příležitostí s ATR, světovým lídrem v oblasti turbovrtulových letounů.

EN: Yesterday we attended Aviation Forum Austria in Vienna, where we discussed the future of aviation with industry leaders – from disruptive R&T and the pace of innovation to international cooperation in aviation.

One clear takeaway for us: there is strong potential to strengthen cooperation between Czech and Austrian aerospace companies.

We therefore see a real opportunity to organise a joint Czech–Austrian industry meeting, where companies from both countries can connect, explore partnerships and develop new collaboration opportunities.

We look forward to taking the next steps! ✈️

CZ: Včera jsme se zúčastnili Aviation Forum Austria ve Vídni, kde jsme s lídry odvětví diskutovali o budoucnosti letectví – od disruptivního výzkumu a inovací (R&T) přes tempo technologického rozvoje až po mezinárodní spolupráci v letectví.

Z akce si odnášíme hlavně to, že je tu prostor pro užší spolupráci mezi českými a rakouskými firmami v letectví.

Rádi bychom proto do budoucna připravili společné česko-rakouské setkání, kde by se firmy mohly potkat a navázat spolupráci.

Těšíme se na další kroky! ✈️

EN: Innovation Workshop in Brno

We recently took part in the Innovation Workshop at VIDA! Science Centre in Brno, dedicated to innovation supported by EU cohesion policy funds in Czechia and Slovakia.

The event brought together experts and organisations from Czechia and Slovakia, as well as participants from Estonia and Slovenia, creating a great space to exchange experiences with innovation policies, projects and funding.

The discussions touched on topics such as:
• investments into strategic technologies (STEP platform)
• support for start-ups, spin-offs and scale-ups
• strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem
• closing the innovation gap and boosting competitiveness

CZ: Inovační seminář v Brně

Zúčastnili jsme se Inovačního semináře ve VIDA! Science Centre v Brně, který se věnoval inovacím podporovaným z fondů politiky soudržnosti EU v Česku a na Slovensku.

Akce spojila zástupce organizací z Česka a Slovenska i hosty ze Slovinska a Estonska a nabídla prostor pro sdílení zkušeností s inovačními politikami, projekty a financováním inovací.

Diskuse se věnovaly například tématům:
• investice do strategických technologií (platforma STEP)
• podpora start-upů, spin-offů a scale-upů
• posilování regionálního inovačního ekosystému
• překonávání inovační mezery a zvyšování konkurenceschopnosti
