We bring you a glimpse into the world of innovations, inspiring projects, and the latest developments of our members and their significant achievements.
A historic moment occurred in Uherské Hradiště when significant companies in Slovácko, including our members - 5M, BD SENSORS, KOVOKON Popovice, MESIT holding, Aircraft Industries, Ray Service, joined hands with local municipalities and political representatives to sign a memorandum of cooperation. This inspirational alliance led to the signing of a collaboration agreement, giving birth to the ambitious Project Region 2047.
This innovative initiative aims to address the pressing workforce shortage by seeking and supporting young talents who can develop their skills and careers in Slovácko. A key part of this project is the construction of a regional campus that connects education, research, and industrial production. Project Region 2047 aspires to become a model example of successful collaboration between businesses, educational institutions, and public authorities, supporting economic growth in the region and ensuring a brighter future for young Slovácko residents.
G.L. Electronics took another significant step towards their space adventure! In September, they sent the final part of the HERA project, a mock-up of a satellite section in real scale. This mock-up version of the satellite is the result of careful work by a professional team and represents a key milestone in their collaboration on the project with the renowned German company OHB.
What's so fascinating about this mock-up? G.L. Electronics integrated the cable harnesses into it, which they manufactured and tested to ensure everything fits as it should. This provided valuable insights into how their satellite will operate in the real conditions of space.
At the same time, G.L. Electronics has joined forces with ClearSpace, working on the first-ever mission solely focused on removing inactive objects from Earth's orbit.
