The number of passengers at Prague airport reached its highest value in August since the beginning of the pandemic resulting in a profit for the first time in months. According to the airport's spokesman, the numbers from the first two weeks in September look good as well.
There were more than 7 500 departures and arrivals made during August, which presents an increase of 39 percent compared to last year. Charter, private, and cargo flights are also counted in this number. The biggest number of passengers traveled from Prague to Burgas (46 thousand), Amsterdam, and Rhodos. Other favorite destinations include Hurghada, Marsa Alam, or Antalya.
