PIMAP 4 Sustainability

We are very pleased to announce that we have managed to get another European project this time called PIMAP4Sustainability!

This is a follow-up to the previous and very successful PIMAP + project, which aimed to further strengthen the internationalization capacities of SMEs, accelerate their access to international markets, and further strengthen inter-cluster activities and cross-sectoral cooperation between photonics, advanced manufacturing, metalworking, and aerospace.

PIMAP4Sustainability brings together 6 leading European clusters to leverage KETs technologies, photonics, advanced manufacturing, and advanced materials, to boost the innovation potential of European SMEs and companies in two key industrial European industries, metalworking, and aerospace.

The concept of the project will connect together all key stakeholders along the photonics value chains to enhance the resilience capacities of European SMEs and their industrial ecosystems, through the acceleration of the adoption of green and digital new processes.

PIMAP4Sustainability offers a uniquely comprehensive package of services and financial mechanisms dedicated to establishing European innovation projects, supporting the skilling and reskilling of the workforce in critical innovative areas, and maximizing the international opportunities for the SMEs.

The consortium is built on 6 highly skilled and complementary leading clusters with a long track record of EU level collaborations that can already demonstrate a number of common success stories such as PIMAP Partnership and PIMAP+. PIMAP4Sustainability project goals are deeply aligned and will significantly accelerate the achievements of SDGs, the updated 2020 New Industrial Strategy, and the European Green Deal goals.
