We are pleased to inform you that with the arrival of spring, the Moravian Aerospace Cluster has not remained passive. As part of expanding our project portfolio, we are participating in exciting projects that offer our members additional potential support for their development.
With the assistance of our partners and colleagues, we have joined a consortium of 14 members and submitted a project focusing on digitization called "IDEALIST". The aim of this project is to provide companies with information and resources for their digitization projects in the aerospace, mobility, and defense sectors, with the goal of enhancing their competitiveness.
As aviation enthusiasts who are not afraid to venture into space, we have created a project in collaboration with a consortium from five other countries called "OASIS". In this project, we will strive to develop a modular space platform that improves the cost-effectiveness of launching materials into space and assists in testing new technologies. Our responsibility primarily involves disseminating the project results and seeking new partnerships.
Together with a diverse consortium from across Europe, we have also focused on the "High-Performance KIT" project, which bridges two worlds - the aerospace industry and athletes. The project aims to connect the needs of the aerospace HR industry with young athletes who have completed their professional careers. This includes sports federations, vocational schools, and industrial partners in key areas. We will explore how to harness the self-discipline, personal ambition, and discipline of athletes to retrain them for the skills required in aviation. This project is an innovative way to connect two distinct worlds.
Within the national OPTAK program, we have submitted two projects: "Strengthening Innovation Capacities and Accelerating the Implementation of Advanced Technologies in the Aerospace and Space Industry through Interdisciplinary and International Collaboration." In this project, we will focus on finding suitable solutions, partners, and financing opportunities for innovative, digitization, and sustainable projects for our members. Of course, we also haven't forgotten about internationalization, so you can look forward to joint exhibitions and business missions to customers.
The second project is "Czech Technology Platform for Additive Manufacturing 2 - Aerospace." In it, we will seek answers to questions such as, "What modern materials and technologies are suitable for use in traditional engineering sectors for the aerospace industry? How can this help Czech industrial companies maintain their competitiveness?" In this project, in collaboration with the Mechatronics cluster, we will identify barriers to the implementation and subsequent certification of 3D printing in aerospace manufacturing and propose ways to overcome them.
Last but not least, we have joined a new call, 040 under MPSV, with the project "Professional Education of Moravian Aerospace Cluster Members", which follows the ongoing call 110. We hope that the project will be successful, allowing us to reimburse the costs of training your employees and thus improve their professional skills.
We believe that the projects we are implementing will bring valuable information and added value to all our members. Please keep your fingers crossed for us so that we can successfully complete all the projects.
