The Institute of Air Transport is one of many institutes of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on TUO. Since 2002 it provides education to pilots, aircraft mechanics, and general aviation workers. The Institute of Aerospace Engineering offers a wide range of services concerning research and optimalization of processes. It also has its own flight simulator as well as an ATC simulator where students can practise for their possible future careers.
